KOLPING HISTORY
Kolping soccer and track teams were first formed in 1931, making Kolping one of the oldest soccer clubs in Cincinnati. Track teams even competed in Columbus, Ohio against Jessie Owens teams. The fields used from 1931-1935 were in the Cumminsville-Northside area. Because of the World War II, there were no teams in existence from 1936-1951.

The first fields used after the war were on the Muehlenhardt property in the 9200 block of Winton Road in Finneytown. In 1954, the field was moved to 9158 Winton Road, commonly known as Kolping Grove, until 1992 when the property was sold.

The Kolping Society purchased property on Mill Road in Mt. Healthy in 1981. Dudley Field was dedicated in 1984, with 3 more fields to follow over the next 10 years. There are 3 softball fields, as well as the Kolping Center Banquet Hall and Klubhouse, on 57 acres.

There have been many exchange teams visiting Kolping from Germany, as well as Kolping teams visiting Germany over the years. Kolping men's teams have won many championships, league and regional, over the last 50 years. They always compete in the U.S. Amateur Cup.

Over the last 15 years, Kolping youth teams have competed in the Tri-County and Buckeye Premier select leagues. Kolping has had a successful past producing 13 State Cup Champions and 4 Regional Champions.
