FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I register my team early Saturday morning?

No.

I am interested in being a referee for your tournament, how do I get information?

Contact our referee coordinator.

How do I place my team in one division or the other?

Ultimately, your team will be placed in the division to be the most competitive with other teams that apply. The Kolping Seth Stevens Memorial Tournament is hopeful and anticipates that each age group will consist of an Elite and Premier division. The Elite division will be the upper division. Depending on the number and quality of teams applying in some cases where fields and referees permit a third Select division may be formed. Each division will be targeted to contain 8 teams.

Our team needs a hotel. Can you help us with that?

Kolping has many hotels that we use. We ask that you use one of the hotels from our hotel page as they all give money back that goes straight to Childrens Hospital. This is why we do not use a hotel service. Please honor this policy. See the Hotels link on the Home page. Please note that tournament participants are not required or obligated to select from this list of hotels. The information is provided as a courtesy to tournament participants.

Do you have an online application I can fill out?

For this year,we would like all applications online. If you have trouble with it, please email the Tournament Director. Applications will not be considered unless a check is sent no more than 10 days after applied online. We are not obligated to contact you and let you know we have not received your check, that is your responsibility to fill out the application and mail the check within ten days. We ill the turnament have in 2004?

Can we use our own forms instead of the forms from the Web site?

Yes, you may use your medical release forms, but they must be forms filled out from this season i.e., you cannot use a form that was filled out for last season.  Medical release forms do not have to be notarized.

Each year our tournament continues to grow. It's not because of the competition that comes out to participate, but because each year teams, families and players understand what our tournament is about. Kolping holds this tournament inorder to remember Seth Stevens as a player and a friend. Therefore, we donate the tournament proceeds to Children's Hospital Hemotology/Oncology Division where Seth was being Treated.

We also, run a Toy Drive so that we can donate Toys to Children's Hospital as well. Each year we are shocked, surprised, and thankful of all the Donations that Teams, Families, Players and Organizations make. It is great to see all different teams come together for a Great Cause.

Last year we had a great success with the donations. Kids from all clubs raised money, selling lemonade or going door to door asking for donations, just to be able to give toys to the hospital. It was a great success.

We do ask that for all teams that are planning on bringing toys- either as a team or individuals to donate to Childrens Hospital, Please click here too see a list of acceptable toys.

Our tournament is held to honor the memory of Seth- a great soccer player and person. #19 We'll never forget you.....
